Environmental Performance Team

Purpose

Condamine Alliance operates an Environmental Performance Team to assist Condamine Alliance to minimise the ecological footprint caused by its business operations. They will do this by regular planning, monitoring, evaluation and reporting, both internally and externally, of Condamine Alliance’s environmental performance across the identified environmental targets

Mission

To demonstrate to internal and external communities, our commitment to business excellence in environmental performance management.

• Maintain ISO 14001 standard
• Be a leader in whole of business environmental performance management
• Minimise our carbon footprint
• Adopt the relevant Global Reporting Initiative’s Environmental and Social Performance Indicators
• Measure and report performance against these indicators to relevant stakeholders
• Reduce water use; energy use & emissions (including vehicles) Reduce / Recycle / Reuse waste (food, paper, cans, bottles)
• Office garden areas that reflect our Natural Rresource M anagement Plan (eg use of native plants and removal of declared weeds) and reflect ecological principles (where appropriate) e.g., biodiversity, function, service and resilience.
• Procurement based on Condamine Alliance’s Environmental Policy and supports the local community.
• To model responsible environmental behaviour to the community
• Follow a continuous improvement process
• Be recognised as an ethical, responsible and credible environmental organisation by our community, partners and investors.
