Leadership through the Ages

A rural youth mentor program

Are you a young farmer or rural decision maker aged 18-30 years?

Do you want to be a leader in your field and learn from industry experts?

The Leadership through the Ages rural youth mentor program connects young farmers and rural decision makers with industry professionals from the Condamine Alliance Emeritus Science Group.

This is a unique opportunity for participants to develop knowledge and skills to face the challenges and identify the opportunities for agriculture as a result of climate change.

This is a free program for selected participants across the Darling Downs.

Nominate by 14 October

The program includes a series of workshops:

Workshop 1	It Starts With You - Skills for Success with Andrew Van Der Reest Psychologist, Discoveries	Tuesday 15 November 2011 9am - 4pm
Workshop 2	Climate Solutions with the Emeritus Science Group (facilitated by Gus Hamilton)	Wednesday 16 November 2011 9am - 4pm
Workshop 3	Influencing Policy with Scott Prasser Principal, Policy Solutions	Monday 20 February 2012 (tbc) 9am - 4pm
Workshop 4	Leading the Way - Now and Beyond with the Emeritus Science Group (facilitated by Gus Hamilton)	Tuesday 21 February 2012 (tbc) 9am - 4pm
