Improving ground cover and soil carbon management on the North East DownsLocation: North East Downs This project aims to encourage land managers to improve how they manage ground cover and soil carbon. Twenty grazing and cropping farmers will be involved in the project to improve their knowledge, skills and farm practices. |
Improving ground cover and soil carbon management in South MyallLocation: South Myall Twenty grazing and cropping farmers in the South Myall sub-catchment area will be involved in this project to learn how to improve their knowledge, skills and farm practices for managing ground cover and soil carbon. |
Improving soil carbon and nutrient efficiency on Eastern Downs dairy farmsLocation: Allora, Pittsworth and Freestone This project will work with Dairying Better 'n Better for Toowoomba groups in Allora, Pittsworth and Freestone to improve farmers' knowledge and skills for managing soil carbon and maximising soil health. |
Improving ground cover and soil carbon management in the Chinchilla UplandsLocation: Chinchilla Uplands This project will work with more than 60 grazing and cropping farmers throughout the Chinchilla Uplands to demonstrate how to sustainably manage ground cover and soil carbon in upland areas. It will involve at least three field days to provide hands-on learning for farmers. |
Improving ground cover and soil carbon management in the Condamine UplandsLocation: Condamine Uplands More than 30 grazing and mixed enterprise farmers will have the opportunity through this project to develop their knowledge and skills for managing soil carbon and nutrient efficiency as part of sustainable farming practices. |
