The Condamine Alliance business plan uses partnerships to achieve resource condition change through on ground projects – has been instrumental in the delivery of the successful NRM plan for the Condamine catchment. A key to this success is the managed relationship and resultant consultation with key stakeholders on investment priorities to drive delivery and outcomes. These partnerships are formal and underpinned with joint responsibility:

Condamine Alliance is partially supported through funding from Caring for Our Country.

Condamine Alliance is partially supported through funding from the Queensland Government’s Q2 Coasts and Country.
Condamine Alliance is recognizing the efforts of volunteers in the region. A volunteer model is being developed for future implementation in volunteer resourced projects to better utilize skills in specific ‘hot spot’ areas of the catchment toward future long term sustainability of the natural resources. Landcare groups have been previously engaged in NRM delivery and were assisted by investment from Condamine Alliance.
Existing research linkages with the on-ground applications by landholders are important. Partnerships exist with CSIRO, Cotton, Grains Research Development Corporation and private entities to deliver the best answers to the science dilemmas that strive to meet the needs of the catchment and beyond.
Agencies support in-kind and formal project partnerships creating a critical advantage to the business of Condamine Alliance and the delivery of milestones and outcomes pertinent to the Condamine catchment NRM Plan.
Peak industry bodies for cotton, grains, pigs, eggs, horticulture, dairy and poultry are all active participants in NRM delivery and investment decisions in the Condamine catchment and beyond. Additional work is being undertaken via private consultants into the grazing, grain and intensive industries.
Condamine Alliance has formal partnerships in place with USQ, QUTS and UQ along with its Gatton campus. These arrangements provide a linkage to the company investment portfolio while providing partners the opportunity to make use of the educational facilities.
The Critical Path and Condamine Alliance corporate investment program is exploring commercial opportunities that may exist for the Condamine catchment.
